Wolverhampton Wanderers star forward, Raul Jiminez, has ended all transfer speculation by penning a deal which will extend his stay at Wolves until 2024.
Wolves have recently become a consistent threat to England’s top teams and are beginning to build something truly special.
The Mexican international had a tremendous season last time out netting 27 goals over 53 games. The 29-year-old has decided to commit his loyalty to Wolves and has told the clubs official website:
“I am delighted to be here and to be at this great club. Since I was a little boy, I just wanted to play, I wanted to enjoy it, live it, and that’s what I am here for.
“They give me all the confidence and the opportunity to be an important guy at the front, and that’s what I was looking for when i arrived in Europe, and Im very happy to continue at this club.”
“It didn’t take much persuading! It was easy for me to say yes because since the beginning, this is what I was looking for.
“The last two seasons we have given very good performances, so i knew this club has something special and Im part of a big family here.”
Already this season, Jimenez has scored two goals in Wolverhamptons opening three games. The striker has and will continue to be crucial to Nuno Espirito Santo’s side and their quest towards European football.
